AMOURANTH

About

Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa is an American livestreamer and costume maker who publishes her work as Amouranth.^[1][2] Her 2019 PAPER interview described broadcasts featuring singing, games and ASMR.^[2]

Siragusa began making costumes and publishing content online in 2010. She recalled internet forums, online roleplaying and RuneScape among her earliest experiences online.^[2] Twitch approached her to broadcast the process of making costumes. Her streams subsequently included dancing, ASMR and hot tub broadcasts.^[1] In May 2021, Twitch suspended advertising on her channel, which she called an alarming precedent.^[3] Twitch said days later that it had suspended advertising on channels its advertisers flagged without telling them first, called that a mistake and began restoring ads case by case; it also gave the streams their own category.^[4][3] In June 2023, she signed with Kick to stream some of her content on that platform.^[1]

Wildcard ownership

In June 2024, the esports organization Wildcard announced that Siragusa had become a co-owner. The announcement accompanied plans for a performance center and offices in Houston, as the organization worked on its Counter-Strike roster.^[5]
