About

Emily Beth Schunk, known as Emiru, is an American streamer and cosplayer who became a co-owner of One True King in January 2023.[1][2] She focused on League of Legends in her early broadcasts before expanding into variety games and Just Chatting.[1][3] In a 2021 interview, she credited Trick2g's YouTube videos with introducing her to Twitch.[4]

Cloud9 and OTK

Cloud9 signed her as a streamer and content creator in August 2020.[5] She joined One True King in January 2022.[6][2][1] In 2023 she helped launch the Steak & Eggs podcast with Asmongold and Tectone. In August 2025, she joined Red Bull as an athlete.[1]

Cosplay and recorded shows

Her makeup provided reference material for the splash artwork of Gwen, a League of Legends character. She learned about the connection after posting her own Gwen costume.[4] Emiru also hosts an annual online cosplay contest.[7] She won Best Creative Arts Streamer at the 2025 Streamer Awards and appeared on Forbes' 30 Under 30 Games list for 2026.[1]

In 2026, she competed in season five of State Farm Gamerhood, a recorded competition show featuring gaming and other challenges.[7][8]
