About
RDCWorld is a Texas comedy collective that streams mainly fighting games on its Twitch channel RDCgaming and makes sketches about anime and sports.[1][2] The collective won Best Variety Streamer at the 2024 Streamer Awards after winning the Streamy Award for Comedy in both 2022 and 2023.[2]
Sketches, manga and Dream Con
Mark Phillips and Affiong Harris started filming sketches at home in Waco, Texas, in 2012.[3] They used YouTube to build an audience for their plans to make manga and anime.[4] By April 2024, Phillips had released the manga Dark Lights through RDC Universe, the group's direct-to-consumer platform.[3]
RDCWorld started Dream Con in Waco in 2018 for anime and gaming fans.[2][4] The convention moved to the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston in 2025.[4]
Leland Manigo and Dylan Patel are its gaming directors, and Phillips is a writer and director.[5][2]
