Who runs StreamersBase

StreamersBase is an independent project. You can contact the owner through the Contacts page, including with requests about your information.

Public profile information

We publish editorial profiles based on public sources and information from Twitch. You can request a correction or removal through our contact form. Include the profile address and explain your request.

Contact messages

When you use the form, we receive your email address, your name, the category you select and your message. We use these details to respond and keep related messages together. Correspondence is accessible to site administrators and is kept until manually deleted. Archiving a conversation does not delete it.

Messages and replies are delivered through our email service provider. Deleting a conversation from the website inbox does not automatically remove mailbox copies or backups.

Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie for site functions and request protection. The vote buttons on profile pages use a browser identifier stored in a cookie for up to one year. The database stores a hash of this identifier with your vote. Clearing that cookie does not delete a previously saved vote. Your theme preference is saved in your browser local storage until you change it or clear your browser data.

Profile visit counts

When a browser that already holds this identifier opens a profile, we record that the profile was viewed that day. The record contains the profile, the date and a one-way code made from the identifier, the profile and the date. It does not contain your IP address, and records for different profiles or days cannot be linked to each other or to your votes. Each browser counts at most once per profile per day.

We use these counts, together with new likes, to rank profiles by popularity on StreamersBase (the GRADE shown on profiles and lists) and to decide which profiles should have their information updated more often. Individual records are not shown on the site and are deleted after eight days.

Spam protection and technical data

The contact form and the vote buttons use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish visitors from automated submissions. Cloudflare processes browser and device signals for that check. We also limit request frequency to protect the service. Technical sessions and server logs may contain an IP address, browser information and request details used to operate and diagnose the site.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are opened and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_G3QGX2NMPL, which hold a random identifier for your browser and last up to two years (some browsers keep them for a shorter time). Google receives browser and device information, the pages you visit and an approximate location derived from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google may process this data in the United States. Analytics data is kept for 14 months in our Google Analytics account. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings or use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

The profile visit counts described above are separate and do not use Google Analytics. We do not display advertising at launch.

Your requests

Use the Contacts form to ask about access, correction or deletion of information relating to you. We may need enough information to identify the relevant record and verify the request. Do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents through the form.
