Distortion2 is a speedrunner whose 6:59 Elden Ring run was the first to finish the game in under seven minutes, a record reported in April 2022. He competed in Any% Unrestricted and used zip glitches to skip large portions of the game.[1][2]
He completed a Dark Souls II all-bosses run in 2 hours, 24 minutes and 55 seconds on March 10, 2016; Guinness World Records recognized the record.[3] By March 2020, he had completed Doom Eternal in a record 39 minutes and 50 seconds, excluding loading screens.[4] In November 2020, he unlocked the secret door in the Demon's Souls remake by exchanging Ceramic Coins with Sparkly the Crow and revealed the Penetrator Armor set.[5]
Shadow of the Erdtree tournament
He later organized a $10,000 speedrun tournament for Shadow of the Erdtree, which had concluded by August 2024. Competitors had to defeat all the expansion's Remembrance bosses and Bayle at level one, using only DLC weapons. Spicee won with a run of 1:14:41.[6]
