Shroud's 2024 gaming PC is a beast. It's got a be quiet! Pure Base 500 FX case, a be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER 10 power supply, an MSI MEG Z690 UNIFY-X ATX motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU. For storage, it's rocking a SEAGATE ST2000DM008 hard drive, and it's kept cool with an AORUS WATERFORCE X 360 system.
Before this, he was using a custom-built PC with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU, a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPU, and a Samsung 980 PRO 1TB SSD, all packed into a MAINGEAR Vybe case with a 1000W EVGA power supply and a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R ARGB cooling system.

He rocks the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM monitor. It's a sweet 32-inch 1440p display with a blazing 240Hz refresh rate and G-Sync support, making it awesome for gaming. He's tried other monitors, but this one is his fave because of its killer visuals and gaming perks.

Shroud rocks the Cooler Master Caliber X1 Gaming Chair in 2024. He's tried a bunch of chairs but usually stuck with the Embody x Logitech G gaming chair. He started off with a regular office chair and then moved to the Embody x Logitech G. In August 2023, he briefly switched back to an office chair, maybe because the Embody chair broke. Recently, he upgraded to the Embody Galaxy Edition with a white frame and green upholstery. So, in a nutshell, Michael's go-to gaming chair is the Embody x Logitech G, Galaxy Edition, for that ergonomic comfort.
What mic does shroud use?
Michael's got the RODE NTG-4 mic for his streams now. Before that, he was using the Shure SM7B, which is famous for its awesome sound quality and low noise—pretty much the go-to for podcasters and streamers. He sets up the mic with a Rode PSA1 boom arm and hooks it up to his PC using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. This setup gives him top-notch audio.

He rocks the Logitech G840 Shroud Edition mousepad. This big, cloth pad was made with Logitech and gives awesome control and tracking. It fits right in with his other Logitech stuff, matching in branding and colors. He used to use top-notch pads like the Zowie G-SR, but now he’s all about the Logitech G840 Shroud Edition.
What camera does shroud use?
He rocks a Sony Alpha a6000 mirrorless camera as his webcam. This little beast has a 24.3MP APS-C sensor, giving way better image quality than your usual webcams. For streaming, he hooks it up with a Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN lens and connects it to his PC using a capture card. This setup gives him awesome video quality and more control over the image, making it his go-to for streaming.
