About
Jacob Rabon IV, known as Alpharad, makes Super Smash Bros. videos and Pokemon Nuzlocke runs on YouTube. The runs add challenges that make the Pokemon games harder. Rabon started the channel in January 2014 and also worked as a fighting game commentator.[1]
Online tournaments and fundraising
Rabon became a minority shareholder and content director at Panda Global in 2018.[1] By March 2020, they and Cr1TiKaL had announced the Quarantine Series, an online Super Smash Bros. Ultimate circuit.[2] For a Red Nose Day charity stream in 2021, Alpharad and Jaiden Animations removed Pokemon from their team as viewers reached donation targets. That October, Rabon and Coney hosted a Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl tournament that raised over $100,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.[1]
Music with Ace of Hearts
Rabon formed the band Ace of Hearts, which released the EPs Monophobia and Scorpion Queen in 2020.[1][3] Their debut album, Frozen in Time, followed on December 10, 2021.[1]
