Sagittarius streamers

A black hole sits just off a teapot's spout in Sagittarius. The Teapot is a pattern made by the constellation's brightest stars; the black hole is Sagittarius A*. The center of the Milky Way lies in the constellation's western part.

The sign takes a different figure as its symbol: an archer drawn as a centaur carrying a bow. Greek tradition identifies the archer with Chiron or with Crotus, a satyr. Sagittarius is ninth in the zodiac, covering November 22 to December 21. In astrology it is mutable fire. Jupiter rules it.
