The Pokemon Company International runs the official Pokemon Twitch channel.[1] The company manages the brand outside Asia, including the Trading Card Game and animated television series. It also handles licensing and the official Pokemon website.[2]
Pokemon USA and Pokemon UK merged in 2009 to form the company. Its Play! Pokemon program includes casual League gatherings and Championship Series events for the card and video games. The card game reached North America and Europe in 1999, and its first World Championships followed in 2004.[2]
