About
Ericka Bozeman, known as Boze and bozevstheworld, is a true-crime creator who makes videos and streams on Twitch.[1][2] By November 2024, she was hosting Sinister, a podcast about female killers. She employed researchers to help prepare its cases.[3]
Smosh and the return to streaming
Boze joined Smosh in 2017 and stayed until 2019. She created, directed and produced Smosh and Order. After leaving Smosh, she worked in marketing at a law firm and then at Live Nation.[4]
She returned to streaming in 2020 and spent that September testing a format devoted entirely to true crime.[4] In a September 2021 interview, she described asking viewers questions to make her broadcasts a conversation about the cases.[1]
Recognition and new shows
Boze received a League of Their Own nomination at the Streamer Awards ceremony held on February 17, 2024.[5] In a November 2024 interview, she credited Deadly Women and Snapped with sparking her interest in true-crime storytelling.[3]
Law&Crime announced Boze vs. The World in September 2026 and scheduled its premiere for December 2026.[6]
