csgo_mc was one of Maincast's Russian-language esports channels on Twitch.^[1] The company's work included esports content and live broadcasts of games including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2.^[1]

ESL Gaming dated its broadcast partnership with Maincast to 2020. An extension announced in December 2021 covered exclusive rights to show ESL competitions on Maincast's Twitch channels in Russian and other CIS languages. The agreement covered Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2, as well as StarCraft II and ESL Mobile.^[1]

Maincast temporarily suspended studio operations when Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The company said in a March 2023 interview that online broadcasts resumed once its workers were safe. It also explained that esports broadcast rights were sold by language rather than by country.^[2]

Maincast announced in April 2023 that it was ending Russian-language coverage of ESL tournaments. The company said it would put more resources into broadcasts in Ukrainian.^[3]
