About
morphe_ya streams Dota 2, Minecraft and single-player games.[1] She won SLAY QUEEN, the best female streamer award, at SLAY 2024.[2] Friends introduced her to Dota 2 in 2014 and put her on Crystal Maiden as a support player.[3]
First broadcasts and the name Morphe
She used a computer her brother had passed on to her for her first Minecraft stream.[3] She broadcast without a webcam to raise money for a friend's operation, then continued streaming.[3] Fortnite introduced her to other streamers and helped her build an audience.[3]
She chose her alias because she liked the sound of the Russian word for morphine.[3] The name was already taken, so she added "ya" at the end; she says it has no connection to Dota 2's Morphling.[3]
Anime recording
A video released in August 2024 showed her recording anime characters with DinaBlin at Flarrow Films.[4] The session covered Chainsaw Man and One Piece.[4]
