About
Peter Macy, also known as PremierTwo, is an American streamer and television personality based in Japan.[1][2] He was an American panelist on NHK World's Cool Japan from 2013 to 2021.[1] He moved from a basketball podcast to gaming broadcasts on Twitch built around conversation with chat and comedy.[2]
Teaching and broadcasting in Japan
He moved to Japan in 2011 through the JET Programme and taught English at five primary schools and four junior high schools in Niigata.[1] In June 2020, he began co-hosting the NBA podcast Magic on the Blacktop with Ian Rudd.[1] The podcast's format calls for the pair to open old basketball card packs to draft teams, then simulate their matchups in video games.[3] He started streaming on Twitch as PremierTwo in October 2020.[1]
An appearance on Chris Broad's Abroad in Japan channel, on a drive to Hokkaido, brought new viewers to his streams. The Premier Two name refers to Premier1, a pub in a Tokyo suburb where he once lived.[2] He appeared on Trash Taste episodes 137 and 179, published in February and November 2023.[4][5]
Cyclethon
He joined CDawgVA's Cyclethon 4 charity cycling event as a guest in April 2025. Other guests included Gigguk, PewDiePie and Robcdee.[6] He returned as a guest for Cyclethon 5, held from April 5 to 19, 2026.[7]
