About
Jack McDermott took his Pieface23 gaming channel full time after appearing on television. He appeared on Deal or No Deal in 2014 and finished fourth in Big Brother 16 the following year.[1][2]
By August 2017, he was streaming FIFA and other games on Twitch. He told interviewer Jacob Potter that he had worked at McDonald's for seven years and that Big Brother had given him a platform to entertain people for a living. Once his channel had an audience, he decided to make streaming his career.[2]
Argyle away days and other videos
A lifelong Plymouth Argyle supporter and Formula 1 fan, McDermott described travelling to away matches with friends as one of his favourite parts of football. He recalled getting up at four in the morning to take a minibus with his friends. He credited Peter Kay with inspiring his interest in making people laugh.[1][2]
His YouTube channel publishes reviews and challenges, including visits to motorway services around the UK.[3]
