About
ShahZaM captained Sentinels to the title at VCT 2021 Stage 2 Masters Reykjavík, the first international LAN tournament in Valorant.[1] His move into Valorant followed years as a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player.[2]
Counter-Strike teams
Cloud9 added him to its roster in December 2014 as Hiko departed.[3] He subsequently played for organizations including OpTic Gaming and Complexity before joining Sentinels in April 2020.[1] His Counter-Strike career had also included Echo Fox, Team SoloMid and Misfits Gaming.[1]
The move to content creation
In December 2022, G2 Esports announced a Valorant roster featuring ShahZaM and his former Sentinels teammate dapr.[4] The lineup was assembled to compete in the North American Challengers circuit.[4]
ShahZaM later switched to a content creation role with G2, and his contract was not renewed in December 2024.[2] Team Liquid announced him as a content creator in June 2025.[2]
At the time of the move, he said he had no plans to return to competitive Valorant.[2]
