About
Yulia Morozova, known as Yuli, is a content creator and former referee in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC).[1][2] She refereed at Worlds 2019. She often worked with Korean teams because she could speak to them without a translator. Those teams included DAMWON and T1, and she recalled standing behind Faker.[1]
Background and refereeing
She was born in Ukraine, grew up in Russia and holds German citizenship.[3] She began refereeing in 2015 after initially working at the venue entrance.[2] She prepared players' keyboards and mice before matches as part of her refereeing duties.[2]
Yuli studied in South Korea between 2016 and 2017. After returning to Europe in October 2017, she began streaming when refereeing opportunities were not immediately available.[1]
Full-time content creation
She left refereeing for full-time content creation after the LEC moved online during the pandemic.[1] G2 Esports announced her arrival on March 5, 2021.[4] By April 2022, she was streaming Lost Ark following its western release.[5] G2 announced her departure on February 22, 2023.[6]
