About
Jason Chan streamed Hearthstone as Amaz and specialized in the Priest class.[1][2] He had won IEM Shenzhen by August 2014.[2] The Blizzard Stream Awards named him Best Hearthstone Streamer for 2014 and announced the result in March 2015.[3]
He first streamed in January 2014 because a friend suggested broadcasting the games he was already playing.[4] By August that year, he had become the first member of Team Liquid's Hearthstone division.[2]
Chan founded Team Archon in November 2014 and later moved to NRG in September 2016. He commentated at the 2015 World Championship and voiced cards in the Blackrock Mountain expansion. He produced the Amaz Team League Championships, but cancelled a Kickstarter for a second season in 2016 after it fell short of its funding goal.[1]
Magic tournament results
Chan also competed in Magic: The Gathering and received special invitations to the 2017 and 2018 Pro Tours. He finished third at the Mexico City Grand Prix in October 2018 and seventh at the London Grand Prix in April 2019.[1]
