About

BoxBox streams Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends and VALORANT, alongside occasional cosplay. His alias came from a Korean-language League username that other players saw as two blank boxes.[1]

Starting out

In his Twitch FAQ, he says he began streaming at 14 and made it his full-time work at 17. He graduated from high school in 2014 and did not attend college.[1]

Creator competitions

BoxBox announced a two-week TFT Set Eight Bootcamp for 50 streamers on December 6, 2022. Riot Games supported the event with a $20,000 prize pool.[2] He later ran a Set 18 edition of the bootcamp.[3]

PogChamps chess

At the first PogChamps in June 2020, BoxBox beat Ludwig in their opening group game through a combination that ended in checkmate.[4][5] He then defeated Forsen in a quarterfinal decided by a three-minute tiebreak game and advanced to the championship bracket semifinals.[6] Voyboy ended his run there by winning both games of their match.[7]
