About
Jack Dunlop, known as CouRageJD, worked as a producer and commentator in esports broadcasting. He studied Electronic Media and Film at Towson University, where a summer internship with Major League Gaming led to hosting its daily show. He later took a full-time producer and commentator role with ESL, interviewing competitors and providing live commentary on Call of Duty tournaments.[1]
Broadcasting and 100 Thieves
Dunlop created content for OpTic Gaming in 2018 and joined 100 Thieves in 2019.[2] In April 2021, the organization named him and Valkyrae co-owners.[3] He moved his streams from Twitch to YouTube in November 2019, then announced plans to stream on both platforms in November 2024.[2]
A birthday fundraiser
On April 23, 2020, he held a twelve-hour charity stream that raised $503,254 for the CDC Foundation. The broadcast included Call of Duty: Warzone games with Nadeshot and other creators, followed by Fortnite and Uno. Donations passed the original $250,000 target partway through the broadcast.[4]
