About

Cody Conrod, known as Clix, is a competitive Fortnite player who became a part-owner of XSET in October 2023.[1] He was born in Connecticut on January 7, 2005.[1][2] He runs the merch brand Dr3amin.[2]

Fortnite World Cup

He qualified for the 2019 Fortnite World Cup at 14 while representing Misfits Gaming.[3][1] At the finals he placed 35th in duos and 18th in solos.[1]

Teams and tournaments

NRG Esports signed him on July 1, 2020.[1] In March 2021 he finished fifth alongside Bugha and Bizzle in the Chapter 2 Season 5 FNCS, his best FNCS result at the time, and in Chapter 3 Season 3 he placed fourth with Lucas "Dukez" Cardenas.[1] XSET announced his signing as a player on October 10, 2023, ahead of that year's Global Championship.[1] At the 2025 Global Championship his trio placed 18th.

In April 2023, Epic Games banned him from competition for 14 days for accepting items from a stream sniper, which cost him his place in that season's FNCS; he said he had been trying to prove the player was stream sniping. He was later allowed to compete in the next season's FNCS.[1][4]

Icon Series

Epic Games released his Icon Series outfit on March 22, 2025.[1] Clix Tycoon, an island made with Sloth Games, was scheduled to open two days earlier.[3] He won Best Fortnite Streamer at the 2024 Streamer Awards and Best Battle Royale Streamer at the 2025 ceremony.[5][6]
