Overview of Dendi

Dendi, whose real name is Danil Ishutin, was born on December 30, 1989 in Lviv, Ukraine. In his childhood he was involved in music and dancing. When his father passed away, he started to get interested in computer games as a way to distract himself. He played Warcraft 3, Quake, and Doom. In 2005, he started playing Dota, which became the most important step in his life.

In 2011, he received a higher education and graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Printing. As a member of the Ukrainian team NaVi, he achieved remarkable success, winning "The International" tournament and reaching the finals twice.

At the end of 2007, Daniil joined his first team, Wolker Gaming. In 2008, he was part of the Kingsurf.int team. However, Dendi's true fame awaited him in DTS, where he played with a short break from the fall of 2008 until the end of 2010. A new era of Dendi's career began in December 2010 when he joined Natus Vincere and quickly became one of the most recognizable players on the team.

In the new team, Dendi was given one of the key roles - the role of a midlaner. The first season ended triumphantly for Na'Vi - they received an invitation from Valve to Cologne for The International 2011, the world championship for Dota 2. In the final, Dendi's team faced "old acquaintances" - the team EHOME, which was defeated with a score of 3:1, and the Ukrainian team won one million dollars.

During his time in Na'Vi, Dendi became the champion of TI1 and the runner-up of TI2 and TI3. He also won the Starladder tournament seven times, became a two-time ESWC Champion, and won numerous online tournaments of various levels. All of this was achieved between 2011 and 2014. In the spring of 2014, internal problems within the team led to a decline in results. At TI4, Na'Vi only managed to reach 7-8th place, and at TI5, they finished at the bottom of the prize table in 13-16th place. Changes in the lineup and the search for a captain did not help. As a result, on October 16, 2015, the organization disbanded the roster.

Playing in Na'Vi for over 1500 games, Dendi has left the club in 2019.

B8 Esports

On January 27, 2020, Dendi officially unveiled his new competitive gaming organization, which was named B8 Esports. The team consisted of three "M R" players: Dendi himself, LeBronDota, KingR, Nongrata, and V-Tune. On February 23, 2020, the B8 Dota 2 squad displayed their most impressive performance up to that point, achieving a 5-6th place finish at the WePlay! By May 2020, B8 encountered a challenging situation as the organization, led by Dendi, set a world record for the most consecutive losses, suffering defeat in 24 matches in a row.

On March 16, 2021, the team brought on board a manager named Alexander "tony" Vygovsky, and on August 6, the B8 organization announced the creation of its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. However, since February 2022, the team has not participated in any competitive matches.

On June 16, 2022, B8 Esports declared the disbandment of their Dota 2 lineup, with Dendi vowing to assemble a new roster. The fresh B8 squad was formed in December 2022, comprising of "StoneBank," "Dendi," "Funn1k," "MoOz," and "Lodine." From that moment onward, the organization began competing in the North American region.

In August 2023, the B8 team had an opportunity to qualify for the primary Dota 2 tournament of the year - The International 2023, but they finished in second place in the North American qualifiers. On December 1, 2023, Dendi, alongside B8 Esports, emerged victorious in their first tournament since 2019 - the "European Pro League Season 14". The team was awarded $5000 for their triumph.
