About
Becca Rukavina, known as Aspen, is an Overwatch support player and streamer. She reached number one on the North American Overwatch support leaderboard in early 2021. The climb took nearly 500 games, and she reached a skill rating of 4700.[1]
Choosing support
She started playing Overwatch in August 2016 after her cousin introduced her to the game; she had previously played Call of Duty and Halo on consoles, as well as Minecraft on PC. She initially played Soldier but switched to support when other players left the role unfilled, then practiced Ana and Mercy before learning other heroes.[1]
She began streaming in 2017.[2] In July 2019, she left her streaming role at Cloud9 to pursue professional Overwatch.[3] By March 2021, she was returning to Contenders with Spackle Academy.[1]
A Minecraft run in the queue
In July 2025, Aspen completed Minecraft during the waits between Overwatch matches. She played the save across a week of streams and spent more than nine hours in the queues.[4]
