About
Duke Dennis, whose full name is Denzel Shaquille Dennis, is an American creator who served in the United States Army before building a career around NBA 2K videos. He later expanded into basketball videos, personal stories and collaborations with AMP.[1][2]
Army service and gaming videos
Dennis enlisted in 2013 and spent part of his service in Germany. He completed his four-year contract in 2017 and pursued YouTube after leaving the military.[1] His NBA 2K gameplay videos established his gaming audience, and he broadened his work to include reactions, vlogs and a Story Time series on Twitch.[2]
Collaborating with AMP
He joined AMP in 2020, and by July 2021 the group included Fanum, Agent00, ImDavisss, Chrisnxtdoor and Kai Cenat alongside Dennis. Their videos ranged from cooking and dodgeball contests to opening a restaurant and making a mixtape.[2][3]
In 2023, Dennis received a Streamy Awards nomination in the Sports category.[4] He also appeared in AMP's 2024 Freshman Cypher, released in July, where comedian Kevin Hart joined the creators for a rooftop freestyle. Hart performed under his Chocolate Droppa rap persona.[5]
