About
Tota MC is a Brazilian streamer who won Best International Streamer at The Streamer Awards 2025.[1][2] His real name is Jonathan Augusto, and he was born and raised in Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro.[3]
He began making comedy videos on TikTok with a phone his mother gave him. In 2024, he started streaming reactions and real-life broadcasts on Twitch.[4]
Streamer University and music guests
Tota met Kai Cenat in 2025 and received an invitation to Streamer University.[5] He took part in the project, which brought creators to the United States for training and collaborations. Tota spent two months living in the United States.[4] His teachers there included Duke Dennis and India Love.
During a July 2025 stream at Adin Ross's home, BenDaDonnn introduced Tota to Drake on FaceTime.[6] By October that year, he had also attended two Drake shows in London.[5]
He went viral singing Mario's "Let Me Love You" and met the singer during a livestream. In May 2026, SBT quoted him as saying that Snoop Dogg had invited him to make music together and that he still needed to arrange the trip.[4]
