A gold farm of more than 600,000 blocks
Mojang featured his survival gold farm in 2021.[1] He spent seven years planning and gathering materials; construction took about eight months.[1] The build used more than 600,000 blocks and took the form of a monster held by golden chains.[1] He said he had placed more than 100,000 wither skeleton skulls by hand and reported an output of 1,000 gold blocks per hour.[1] His goal was to produce enchanted apples for use while working on later projects in the same world.[1]
His Patreon supports the Survival series.[3] There, he describes how increasingly large projects made individual episodes take much longer to produce.[3]
