About
WestCOL organizes Stream Fighters, an amateur boxing event, alongside his work as a Colombian livestreamer.[1]
Luis Fernando Villa Álvarez, known as WestCOL, has said that a government scholarship paid for his studies at Tecnológico de Antioquia, where he graduated in systems engineering.[2][3]
Beyond Twitch
He began uploading to YouTube in 2015 and moved into Twitch streaming in 2018.[1] His Twitch broadcasts included Minecraft and Just Chatting sessions, and Kick became his main platform in 2023.[1]
The fourth edition of Stream Fighters brought influencer bouts to Bogotá.[3] He also participated in the Américas Kings League with West Santos FC alongside Arcángel.[1]
W Sound sessions
WestCOL launched W Sound with producer Ovy on the Drums in 2024.[1] The project brings guest artists into music sessions; its releases include Soltera with Blessd and La Plena with Beéle.[4]
WestCOL has described choosing the guest artist with his community while Ovy handles production.[4] The format also includes an interview with the artist on his stream before the studio performance.[4]
