About
League of Legends analyst and coach Nick De Cesare is known as LS and streams under the name imls.[1][2][3]
Coaching and commentary
Supa Hot Crew announced him as a coach and analyst by May 2014.[4] He went on to coach Gravity Gaming in 2015 and work on the English-language LCK broadcast.
In a 2018 interview, he described a working routine of streaming, coaching and playing League of Legends from his apartment in South Korea.[3] At the end of 2021, he became head coach of Cloud9. Cloud9 dismissed him less than three months into the role; he later worked with FlyQuest.[5]
Champion drafts
LS has argued for the Ironman draft format, in which bans carry over between games. He discussed alternative formats with Nemesis in a 2021 video and traced his approach to strategy to his experience playing StarCraft and StarCraft II.[2]
Riftbound
T1 announced him as its first Riftbound player in 2026. The trading card game is based on League of Legends.[5] By October that year, LS had reported an undefeated win at a Riftbound Championship Qualifier.[6]
