About
Matthew Craig, known online as MattHDGamer, makes Ultimate Team videos and pack openings from Liverpool.[1][2] He also comments on changes to FIFA.[2] He was a finalist in the Best in eSports, Creators category at the 2024 Football Content Awards.[1]
He began posting on YouTube with a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 commentary video in January 2010. By August, he had switched mainly to FIFA.
FUT Champions and rewards
In a Dexerto article updated on August 20, 2020, Craig proposed extending FUT Champions to Monday night. He argued that the weekend schedule left too little time for people working weekends to play 30 matches. He also wanted the monthly rewards from FIFA 17 and 18 to return. For Team of the Week, he wanted players to be able to earn cards through gameplay without buying packs.[2]
He now makes EA Sports FC videos, including EA FC 27 pack openings and tutorials, as well as football videos.[3]
