About
El Chiringuito TV is the Twitch channel of the Spanish football debate show presented and directed by Josep Pedrerol.[1][2][3] Its discussions focus on the Spanish league, particularly Real Madrid and Barcelona.[1] The show also covers international football and occasionally discusses Spanish futsal and basketball.[1]
Football livestreams
The programme began a Clásico marathon on Facebook, Twitch and YouTube on 19 March 2022. More than 33 hours of uninterrupted coverage were planned.[4] By November 2022, Pedrerol had made his own Twitch debut on the channel. He answered viewers’ questions in a broadcast lasting half an hour.[5]
Television history
The television show first aired on 6 January 2014.[1] It followed Pedrerol’s Punto pelota at Intereconomía and retained that programme’s format and technical team.[1] After leaving Atresmedia, it debuted on Energy in August 2026.[6] Mediaset announced late-night editions from Monday to Thursday on Energy and Sunday editions on Cuatro.[2] For the Energy debut, Pedrerol asked younger viewers to help their parents and grandparents tune in to the new channel.[6]
