About
Andrey Aleksandrovich Burim, known as Mellstroy, is a Belarusian blogger and streamer whose work includes online casino promotion.[1][2] He gained attention in 2020 for livestreaming parties in Moscow, then attracted renewed interest in summer 2023 by offering other streamers money to perform challenges.[3][2]
Celebrity challenges
On 29 February 2024, he announced a contest offering rewards for celebrity greetings and social-media follows. MrBeast followed him on 3 March after Malibuca and Anas helped arrange it. IShowSpeed also followed him, and the rapper Tyga sent a greeting.[4]
By 20 March 2024, he had hosted a joint stream with rapper Morgenshtern on Kick.[3] Championat reported 720,592 concurrent viewers, and some viewers doubted the figure.[5] By 12 April 2024, Slava KPSS had released the song Starina Mellstroy under his Valentin Dyadka alias. The song addressed the streamer's paid challenges.[6] He gave an interview to Vpiska in August that year.[3]
2021 conviction
In July 2021, a court sentenced him to six months of correctional labor for beating a woman during a stream.[3][7] By August 2024, he said he had acted in anger and that the incident taught him to control it.[7]
Early gaming videos
He was born in Gomel, Belarus, on 15 December 1998. After leaving an electromechanics course at college, he began a gaming blog on YouTube. His first videos were Minecraft playthroughs; he later made reviews and streams of other games.[1]
