About
Eugene Park, known as Pobelter, is a League of Legends mid laner and three-time LCS champion.[1] He won the 2015 NA LCS Summer Playoffs with Counter Logic Gaming and both 2018 splits with Team Liquid.[1][2]
CLG beat Team SoloMid 3-0 in the 2015 final.[1] At Team Liquid, he played alongside Doublelift on the roster that swept 100 Thieves 3-0 in the 2018 Spring final.[1][3] Liquid followed that win with another 3-0 final against Cloud9 in the Summer Split.[2]
Pobelter is Korean American and was born and raised in Southern California.[4] He started playing League of Legends during its closed beta in July 2009.[5] At Troy High School in Fullerton, he studied computer science through the Troy Tech magnet program.[1] After graduating, he accepted an offer from Evil Geniuses instead of going straight to college.[6]
He played for Immortals in 2016 and 2017 and reached the group stage of the 2017 World Championship.[1] After a season with FlyQuest in 2019, he coached for Team Liquid before returning to CLG during the 2020 Spring Split.[1] He also streams for Team Liquid.[7]
