About
Oleg Bocharov, known as Stray228, is a Dota 2 streamer born in Belgorod on 30 October 1992.[1] He studied electrical power engineering at Belgorod State Technical University named after Shukhov.[1]
From local tournaments to broadcasts
During his student years, Bocharov played in local LAN tournaments and crossed paths with players including 9pasha. He created his Twitch channel in 2013 after friends suggested broadcasting his games.[1]
He later captained teams in BetBoom Streamers Battle.[1] In July 2024, he was an official Russian-language community caster for Riyadh Masters and presented a show on his channel with BetBoom's support.[2] In an interview during the event, he said he preferred streaming to pursuing a professional playing career and described broadcasts as a way to relax.[2]
Runa Team
By July 2025, Bocharov had signed a Dota 2 roster under Runa Team. Explaining the decision, he said he wanted to help promising players develop.[3]
