About

SypherPK is Ali Hassan, an American Fortnite creator whose videos explain how to play the game.[1][2] He was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and started his YouTube channel in 2011.[2]

From RuneScape to Fortnite

He produced video projects for school before making early RuneScape videos with his brothers.[2] He later focused on The Elder Scrolls Online before viewers encouraged him to try Fortnite in late 2017.[2] His How to Win series broke down techniques for other players, alongside entertainment videos.[2]

Icon Series and Oni Studios

Epic Games added his Icon Series outfit to Fortnite's shop on September 22, 2022.[3][4] A Zero Build duos competition offered players an opportunity to earn the outfit before its shop release.[3] Oni Studios also made SypherPK's PIT, an island combining a social area with player-versus-player combat.[3] In January 2023, Hassan and his wife, Oni Studios CEO Daniela Ali, opened the company's headquarters in Austin.[5] The facility included podcast and photography studios, and production space was available to outside creators.[5]
