About
Vei is a VTuber who received a nomination in the VTuber category at the 2022 Streamy Awards.[1][2] She began using an anime avatar in April 2020, after streaming without a camera and becoming known for Overwatch.[3]
Zentreya's broadcasts inspired her to try VTubing. Clips shared by Japanese YouTuber Shinji brought her an audience in Japan.[3] In an interview with PANORA, she credited Shinji with her channel's growth and named Final Fantasy XIV as her favourite game.[4]
VShojo and the sky-serpent model
She joined VShojo in April 2021. In 2022, she replaced her succubus avatar with a sky-serpent design and recorded a 14-minute lore video to introduce the new model. The project gave her an opportunity to try voice acting, which she had wanted to do. She said Dungeons & Dragons games with other VTubers had encouraged her interest in roleplay.[3]
Her departure from VShojo was announced on April 26, 2023, after she chose not to renew her contract.[5]
