About
Jordan Montemurro, known as Zellsis, is a professional VALORANT player who won Masters Madrid in 2024 with Sentinels.[1][2] Sentinels defeated Gen.G in the final.[1][2] His Masters Madrid teammates included TenZ and zekken.[2] He now plays for Cloud9.[1]
From Counter-Strike to VALORANT
He previously played CS:GO for Swole Patrol and joined Cloud9 on trial.[3] During that trial, Cloud9 finished second at the 2019 ELEAGUE Invitational and reached the New Legends Stage of the IEM Katowice Major.[4] Katowice was his first Major.[4]
Riot Games suspended Zellsis from the first Stage 3 Challenger open qualifier and main event in 2021 for a discriminatory remark about a tournament official.[5] He and Version1 apologized to Riot staff and accepted the suspension.[6]
After playing on Cloud9's 2023 VCT roster, Zellsis returned to Sentinels as a sixth man.[7][1] He replaced pANcada in the starting lineup, and Sentinels beat LOUD in the 2024 Americas Kickoff final.[8] He later rejoined Cloud9 and had become its full-time in-game leader by February 2026.[1][9]
