Queer representation and life on stream
Aimsey discussed their experience as a lesbian creator in an August 2025 interview with DIVA. They recalled the poor queer representation they had grown up with and called on established streamers to create opportunities for new queer creators.[4] In a June 2026 Guardian interview, they described how streaming had affected their friendships: they had come to feel that friends would only want their company if they could offer something in return.[3]
