About
Ranboo is a Twitch and YouTube creator who became known through Minecraft and joined the Dream SMP server in late 2020. Their later work includes Generation Loss, an interactive horror project that placed audience decisions inside a live story.[1][2]
The Social Experiments
Ranboo wrote and starred in the 2023 series, directed by Josh Haskins. Its three broadcasts mixed live performances with prerecorded scenes, and viewers voted on what Ranboo's character should do.[1][3] Slimecicle and Sneegsnag joined the opening cabin scenario, which began with comic challenges before shifting toward horror. Later episodes expanded the action into an abandoned shopping mall used as the production's setting.[2]
The Founders Cut
The Social Experiments: The Founders Cut arrived in June 2024 as an edited version of the broadcasts. It shortened pauses and banter originally needed for audience voting, used overlays to convey viewers' choices and added new post-credits material.[2][4]
