AuronPlay is the online name of Raúl Álvarez, a Spanish comedian and streamer born in Badalona. Before making videos full time, he worked in graphic arts and bookbinding. He opened his YouTube channel in 2006 and took the name Auron from a character in Final Fantasy X.[1]
Comedy, books and roleplay
In 2012, he began regularly reviewing other internet videos through comedy. He published De lo peor, lo mejor in 2015 and AuronPlay, el libro in 2016, and performed on stage with fellow creator Wismichu. In 2018, he interviewed creators for Flooxer, including Ibai Llanos.[1]
He started streaming games and conversations with viewers on Twitch in 2019. In May 2020 he played Gustabo on the Grand Theft Auto V server Spain RP. He later helped create another roleplay server, Infames RP.[2][1] In April 2021 he joined Marbella Vice, a GTA roleplay project created by Ibai and CooLifeGame.[1]
