About
Loserfruit is Kathleen Belsten, an Australian streamer and video creator known for Fortnite. The name began as a joke on friends who had formed a fruit clan.[1][2] She started creating content while studying journalism and moved into it full time after graduating.[2] Her earlier gaming work included League of Legends and Overwatch; she moved to more Fortnite content at the end of 2017.[3]
A Fortnite character and a beauty collaboration
In June 2020, Belsten became the second creator after Ninja to receive a Fortnite Icon Series outfit.[4][5][3] The set included accessories and an emote based on her online identity.[4][5] That December, she worked with E.l.f. Cosmetics on a video recreating her Fortnite character's makeup. Anna Bynum, the company's manager of education and artistry, joined her for the tutorial. It was her first beauty partnership.[6]
Producing PWR House
Belsten joined Lachlan Power's PWR organization in September 2021.[7] In July 2024, Screen Australia named Belsten as a producer of PWR House: Making of Champion, a documentary project supported by its Skip Ahead initiative with YouTube Australia. The announcement described three planned 20-minute episodes about competitive gaming and content creation that would follow PWR creators including Lachlan Power, Alex Richmond and Belsten.[8]
