About
Carsten, known as ELoTRiX, is a German creator who made shooter gameplay videos with commentary and streams on Twitch.[1][2][3] He opened his ELoTRiX Playz YouTube channel on February 18, 2011.[3]
Shooter videos and variety streams
He previously played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops 3 and Battlefield 3.[3] By March 2022, his broadcasts also included Elden Ring and Dying Light 2.[3] A 2023 BILD profile describes his loud reactions on stream and the time he spends talking with viewers during broadcasts, alongside the gameplay for which he is known.[1]
ELoTRiX and MontanaBlack have known one another since the beginnings of their careers.[3] Carsten completed secondary school and trained as a freight forwarding clerk in Ulm.[1]
Team management
ELoTRiX also managed the Call of Duty team FabE.De.[4] In a Red Bull interview, player Kevin Fiala said Carsten arranged tournament travel and spoke with potential sponsors and advertising partners.[4]
