About
filian is a creator who began making content in VRChat and used full-body tracking to perform without showing her face. She hosted the first VTuber Awards in December 2023 and appeared as a digital avatar while broadcasting from WePlay's Los Angeles studio.[1]
Producing the VTuber Awards
Ahead of the show, she told Dexerto that she wanted award categories for both smaller and larger creators. She was also considering how to accommodate different languages and creators working independently or with agencies.[2] The ceremony included awards for clippers and dedicated fan communities.[1]
The five-hour broadcast placed her in a virtual stadium that WePlay built in Unreal Engine. The company rebuilt her avatar for the show. A motion capture suit recorded her movements, and an iPhone tracked her expressions. Camera operators used physical cameras linked to viewpoints inside the virtual venue.[1] She returned to host the second ceremony with Shylily on December 14, 2024.[3]
By May 2026, Dexerto reported that content across her accounts had been deleted or made private after months away from streaming.[4]
