About
Yaroslav Kuznetsov, known as NS, is a former DotA player who won ten ASUS Open titles and four MYM Prime Defending titles.[1][2] He later created Starperhub, an independent Dota 2 tournament broadcast on his just_ns channel.[3]
NS is a shortened version of his earlier nickname, Night Sniper.[3] Kuznetsov played alongside Dendi at DTS and finished second at ESWC in 2010.[1][2] He represented Moscow Five at The International 2011 and won The Defense 3 with Virtus.pro in 2013. Although he announced his retirement in November 2013, he returned to Virtus.pro in January 2014.[1]
Commentary and game guides
After leaving competition, he worked at RuHub as a commentator and analyst. He also explained unusual Dota 2 mechanics in videos for Dota Universe by RuHub. The series was called Khochu znat and became known as Fishki NSa. After leaving the studio, he covered tournaments on his own channel, where the first Starperhub broadcast took place in 2021.[3]
