About
Kelsie Pelling, known as KayPea, is a League of Legends streamer whose videos and streams focus on mid-lane play. She began streaming the game at university in 2013; her handle spells out her initials, KP.[1][2]
League of Legends beyond her channel
In 2018, she co-hosted ELEAGUE's Esports 101: League of Legends on TBS. That year she also captained a team in the Gift the Rift charity tournament. Pokimane, LilyPichu and xChocoBars led the other teams.[1]
Pelling was born in Vancouver and earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology.[1] She played college basketball and later told Red Bull that the experience helped her make decisions and understand team roles in League of Legends.[2] She moved to the Netherlands to work with SivHD's team.[3] After returning to Canada, she continued on her own.[2]
Clothing designs
During the pandemic, Pelling worked with Meta Threads on a clothing range. They spent five to six months developing the designs, she recalled in a June 2023 interview.[2]
