About

Anne Fish, known as mamabenjyfishy, is a competitive Fortnite player and esports mentor.[1][2] She is the mother of esports player benjyfishy.[3] She began playing Fortnite herself in February 2021 and signed with Galaxy Racer that September.[4]

By June 2023, she had played in her own in-game Creator Cup with benjyfishy and MrSavage and received her own locker bundle. She had also attended DreamHack San Diego.[5]

Books and esports guidance

Her book Let’s Go! benjyfishy’s Fortnite Journey follows her son’s route to the 2019 Fortnite World Cup.[6] The paperback was published on November 25, 2021.[7] She found time to write during lockdown after planned LAN tournaments were cancelled.[8]

She and Johnny Troset Andersen coauthored Build it like benjyfishy and MrSavage, a guide for players and parents.[6][8] She managed benjyfishy after his March 2019 signing with NRG and advised the Coalition of Parents in Esports.[7] Her consultancy guides esports players and parents new to the industry.[9]
