About

Benjamin David Fish, known as benjyfishy, is a British streamer and professional Valorant player for Team Heretics who won the 2025 Esports World Cup.[1][2][3] He previously competed in Fortnite and reached both finals at the 2019 World Cup.[1][2]

Fortnite World Cup

Fish joined NRG in 2019 and finished 25th in the World Cup solo competition. He placed 14th in duos alongside MrSavage, a partnership that also produced a DreamHack Open win.[4] At the World Cup press conference, he explained that he was homeschooled and still studying, and that learning at home made it easier to combine late practice with enough sleep.[5] His mother, Anne Fish, later wrote about his Fortnite career in the book Let's Go.[6]

Competing in Valorant

He left competitive Fortnite in June 2022 and joined Team Heretics in July 2023.[4][1] Heretics finished second at Masters Shanghai and Champions Seoul in 2024.[7][8] In a July 2026 interview, Fish described the Esports World Cup victory as his first major trophy.[3] The team won VCT EMEA Stage 1 in May 2026 after beating Team Vitality in a five-map final.[9]
