About

Mixwell is a former Counter-Strike and VALORANT player who won ELEAGUE Season 2 with OpTic Gaming in 2016 and later captained G2 Esports' first VALORANT roster.[1][2][3] His full name is Oscar Cañellas Colocho.[2] His Twitch broadcasts include VALORANT watch parties.[4]

From Counter-Strike to VALORANT

He moved from Counter-Strike: Source to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2012.[3] After a temporary spell with G2's Counter-Strike team in 2018, he returned as its first VALORANT signing by June 2020.[2] The 2020 Dexerto Awards named him VALORANT Player of the Year.[5] G2 reached the semifinals of Masters Berlin in 2021 and shared third place with 100 Thieves.[3] Mixwell retired from professional play in October 2023, after a final season with Team Heretics.[3]

Otakar Esports

By October 2025, he had founded Otakar Esports and taken on the role of team owner. He said he had created the club to help players develop and that he kept direct contact with them and their coach and offered advice when they struggled.[6]
