About
Rayasianboy is a Taiwanese streamer who appeared in Kai Cenat's livestream during a school trip to Japan in July 2023. He followed clues from the broadcast to a 7-Eleven and approached Cenat, whom he had watched online. Their meeting led to further collaborations.[1][2]
Taiwan and the move to American streams
Chen-Ruei Hsu, known as Ray, was born in Taiwan on October 31, 2005, and attended Tamkang High School.[1] He played basketball on the school team. Cenat visited Taiwan for his graduation in 2024 and invited him to the United States, where Ray made videos and streams with Cenat and other AMP members.[1][2]
Basketball, clothes and RUEI
In GQ's March 2025 10 Essentials interview, Ray said he had considered playing college basketball before meeting Cenat. He also described practicing English through GTA role-play while he was still attending school.[3]
He and Cenat modeled for the BAPE by KidSuper collection in 2025.[1] By October that year, Ray had announced RUEI, a clothing brand named after part of his Chinese name.[2]
