Wololo at the castle
The seventh Red Bull Wololo tournament took place at Castillo de Almodovar del Rio in Spain from October 3 to 6, 2024. Players competed in LAN matches inside the castle before a live audience. They contested titles in Age of Empires I, II and IV and Age of Mythology: Retold. Hera won the Age of Empires II competition, while Age of Mythology: Retold made its competitive debut at the event.[3]
Earlier broadcast plans
In July 2013, Twitch announced plans to carry Red Bull's Training Grounds StarCraft II invitational in Florida. The July 26 to 28 schedule called for eight professional players, two days of round-robin play and a final-four tournament.[4]
Red Bull later scheduled Kumite London for May 22 and 23, 2021 at its Gaming Sphere venue. The planned Twitch broadcast included Street Fighter V matches and a Guilty Gear Strive exhibition.[5]
