About
Necati Akçay, known as ZEON, is a Twitch streamer who held a 315-hour subathon.[1] Webtekno described it in May 2021 as Turkey's longest Twitch broadcast. It surpassed Kaanflix's 230-hour broadcast.[1]
Each new subscriber added time to the subathon.[1]
From Twitch to gaming events
Friends encouraged Akçay to start broadcasting, and he began on Twitch during Ramadan in 2013. He started uploading regularly to YouTube in summer 2015. His channel also collected funny moments in a video series. In his 2016 LEVEL interview, he was living in Istanbul and studying international relations through distance learning.[2]
His gaming videos included League of Legends and Battlerite. Red Bull published his League of Legends URF gameplay after an Oyun Gecesi broadcast in which he and Mervan Tepelioğlu played until morning.[3][4]
Riot Games later included ZEON in its Ramadan broadcast schedule for May 10, 2021.[5]
