About

Jonas Ring, known as Spuzie and previously as Sp4zie, makes League of Legends videos and streams a variety of games.[1][2][3] He began streaming and making YouTube videos in 2011, and his early highlights featured games with his friends.[2] They named their group Compact Gaming.[2]

He was born in the Stockholm suburbs and later studied radio production.[4] He built his YouTube channel while studying and left the course before his final essay to make videos full time.[4]

Broadcasting and campaigns

By March 2014, he had joined United Screens' YouTube network and appeared on SVT Play's talk show MVH.[1] That month, he spoke to Sveriges Radio about his involvement in the No Hate Speech Movement campaign.[5] He said he encountered hateful comments on his videos and did not want to accept them as normal.[5]

Coca-Cola announced him and Athena Afshari as the hosts of Sweden's CokeTV in April 2017.[6] The format combined challenges with questions from viewers.[6]
